A great weekend with decent weather, 2 fantastic courses ( very long and quite difficult ). The hotel was amazing with everything on offer, but a little too corporate for a smaller group of players like ourselves. The service was excellent both at the bar and at the table. Rooms were large and very clean and nothing was over-looked.
Very well done to all the winners and recipients of the various prizes and a special thank you to (Jamie Burns )for thieving and playing my balls on a number of occsasions around the course!!!
I now, after 17 years have stood down from the helm of running and organising the event and Derek Harris has kindly stepped into my shoes and will now be running the Buns Cup in future years. I trust, like with me, he will get the same support and backing. I found it quite an emotional thing to do in handing over the reigns. I have loved every minute of doing the work necessary to run these events annually and trust that you have all enjoyed what I managed to acheive.
